About Me

As a transracial inter-country adoptee and adult third culture kid (TCK), I've lived in ten countries across three continents, experiencing frequent moves every couple of years. These experiences have profoundly shaped my identity. Relocating from the UK to Australia in my adulthood marked another significant change.

In my late teens, I embarked on personal therapy during a particularly challenging period. It was my first encounter with therapy, offering me a space to explore how my upbringing had impacted me. Through this journey, I processed the grief of leaving numerous homes and delved into my feelings about my adoption. As I grew older I returned to therapy multipple times following challenging events and transitions in my life.

I am deeply committed to supporting individuals navigating major life transitions and cultural adjustments. Having often felt like an outsider, I empathise with the challenges of adapting to new environments. As a woman of colour, I embrace the opportunity to work with diverse clients and continually seek additional training to ensure a safe and respectful therapeutic approach across all backgrounds. I'm LGBTQ+ accepting, gender affirming, kink aware, and I strive to understand experiences through an anti-oppressive lens.

Above all, I believe in the transformative power of therapy—the importance of listening to your inner voice, no matter how daunting or overwhelming, and sharing it with a compassionate, non-judgmental listener. I aspire to be that person for you as you embark on your next journey.

I acknowledge Kabi Kabi peoples, the First Peoples of Moreton Bay where I live and work. I respect and acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging.  I celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
