There can be a new beginning for everyone

Person-centred counselling for identity, transition and belonging.

I offer emotion-focused therapy for adult adoptees, Third Culture Kids, and anyone feeling lost in the in-between. If you’re navigating life transitions, big emotions, or questions of identity, you are not alone.

I’m not here to hand you a toolkit. I’m here to be with you - curiously, gently, and with care.

Hi, I'm Rachel.

I am a registered therapist, intercountry & transracial adoptee, adult Third Culture Kid and immigrant.

I've spent a lot of time untangling questions around identity, belonging, and loss - and sitting with the kind of grief that doesn’t always have a name. Therapy gave me space to feel, to make sense of things, and to slowly come home to myself.

That’s what I hope to offer others too.

EFT Tapping in Therapy: A Gentle Tool for Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma

Adoption, Culture, and Belonging: Wearing Mehendi on My Wedding Day

I wore mehendi on my wedding day. That doesn’t feel like it should be a powerful statement, or even one that carries much emotional weight. Anyone looking at me would probably assume it was nothing out of the ordinary. If they were familiar with South Asian wedding traditions, they might even assume there had been […]
