What is Psychotherapy and Counselling?

Sometimes referred to as "talk therapy" or simply "therapy," counselling and psychotherapy involves sitting down with a qualified practitioner in a safe and confidential space to explore what’s on your mind.

This can include addressing current challenges, exploring long-standing beliefs about yourself, or simply making sense of your emotions. The goal of counselling and psychotherapy is to help you gain deeper self-understanding and clarity, empowering you to accept yourself and make positive changes in your life.

Intercountry Adoption: Hidden Truths, Stolen Children and the Need for Critical Reflection.

Introduction Intercountry, or International, adoption has often been romanticized as a noble act—rescuing children from poverty, war, or unstable conditions, and giving them a "better life."
